Rust Removal from Kitchen Utensils
Rust spots
Do you have problems with rust spots on your cutlery after a dish wash?
Then try the following tips to remove the rust
Take 2 pieces of aluminium silver foil wrap and roll them lightly into 2 balls. (they should not be completely curled together) put them in the dishwasher and run a regular wash.
Then it can be seen that the rust has settled on the foil and the problem should be gone.
If there are remains of rust left on cutlery or similar, tit must be polished with a steel cleaner before they are put back in the machine.
It is important to be aware that the following may be the major issue for the problem.
- Garlic presses
- Cheese blades
- Egg parts
- A fine mesh stainer or sieve
- rust on the pull-out baskets or other machine parts.
So go ahead with the silver wrap, form a few balls, then you are ready to fight the rust spots on your cutlery!
